Marble is a metamorphic natural stone formed by the metamorphosis of limestone and dolomite under extreme pressures and temperatures. The word “marble” is derived from the Greek word “Marmar”, meaning “to glisten”.

Marble is fairly translucent, and it comes in white, ivory, cream, beige, tan, brown, red, pink, purple, yellow, green, blue, grey, and black.

The following catalogue of marbles comprises only marbles from Spain, however, we may obtain foreign marbles by order. We tend to import Indian Green, Rainforest Green, Pink Portuguese, Nero Portoro, etc.
